We offer adventures for every stage of your outdoor journey, whether you’re taking your first steps or ready to learn new skills and take on a bigger challenge.

Whatever you choose, we’ll help you feel safe, supported and ready to enjoy the adventure.
-
We believe cost shouldn’t be a barrier to finding yourself again outdoors. That’s why women who have experienced domestic abuse can access our funded events completely free.
Our supporter tickets are for women who want to join the adventure while supporting our mission. By buying a ticket, you’re helping us keep survivor places free, run more adventures and reach more women who could benefit from Revive.
Survivor or supporter, everyone adventures together.
-
There’s no test, evidence or proof required. If you feel you’ve experienced domestic abuse, you’re welcome to book a free survivor ticket. We trust you. 💛
Domestic abuse isn’t always physical. It can include emotional, verbal, financial or sexual abuse, coercive control and other controlling behaviours, and we know how easy it can be to minimise or question your own experience.
Whatever your experience looked like, you don’t need to justify it to us. If you feel Revive could help you feel like yourself again through the outdoors, you’re welcome here.
-
Absolutely! 💛 We’d love to welcome you. Our events are open to all women — survivors and supporters — so you can adventure alongside your friend or loved one.
Simply select ‘I’m a supporter’ when booking and purchase your ticket. Not only will you be there for your friend, your ticket will also help us keep places free for survivors and support more women through Revive.
-
Not at all. Your story is yours to share — or not share.
There’ll never be any expectation to explain what brought you to Revive. You can simply turn up, enjoy being outdoors and be part of the group. If you do choose to share, you’ll be met with kindness and no judgement.
-
No. Whether you’ve booked as a survivor or supporter is private, and we won’t identify you to the group.
Once we’re out adventuring together, we’re simply one Revive community.
-
Absolutely. There’s no time limit on your experience or how long it can take to feel like yourself again.
Whether you left an abusive relationship recently or many years ago, you’re welcome at Revive.
-
No. Revive is an outdoor community, not a therapy or crisis support service.
We use outdoor adventure, shared experiences and community to help women move forward after domestic abuse. If you need specialist or immediate support, we’ll always encourage you to access an appropriate professional service.
About Revive
-
Absolutely — and lots of women will! 💛
We know walking into a new group alone can feel like the hardest part, so we’ll make sure you receive a warm welcome. Come on your own and you might just leave with a whole new group of adventure buddies.
-
Not at all. We’ll offer everything from beginner-friendly walks and nature experiences to bigger mountain adventures and skills workshops.
Each event page will clearly explain what to expect so you can choose an adventure that feels right for you.
-
It depends on the adventure. Some will be gentle and accessible, while others will involve longer distances, hills or more challenging terrain.
We’ll always give you clear information about distance, ascent and difficulty beforehand. If you’re unsure, just get in touch and we’ll help you decide.
-
Revive is currently for adult women aged 18 and over.
There’s no upper age limit — if the adventure is suitable for your ability and you’re ready to give it a go, we’d love to have you.
-
We want our adventures to be as accessible as we reasonably can. Different routes and activities will have different requirements, so please get in touch before booking if there’s anything we can do to support you.
We’ll happily talk through the adventure with you and explore any reasonable adjustments that could help you take part.
-
Don’t worry — you don’t need a wardrobe full of outdoor gear to adventure with us! 🥾
Our kit library has essentials you can borrow, including waterproof jackets, backpacks and hiking boots. Just tell us what you need when booking and we’ll do our best to have it ready.
No kit? No problem. We’ve got you.
Joining an Adventure
-
Every event will include a kit list telling you exactly what you’ll need.
Generally, you’ll need suitable footwear, comfortable clothing, waterproofs, water, food and any personal medication. And remember — if you’re missing something, our kit library may be able to help.
-
Well... we do adventure in Britain!
Most events will still go ahead in normal British weather, so waterproofs are your friend. However, your safety will always come first. If conditions aren’t suitable, we may change the route, postpone or cancel and we’ll keep you informed.
-
Sometimes yes, sometimes no!
Facilities vary depending on where we’re adventuring, so we’ll let you know what’s available before your event.
On some of our more remote adventures, a wild wee might be required! Don’t worry if that’s new to you — we’ll happily share some tips on how to do it comfortably, discreetly and responsibly.
-
Dogs are welcome on some of our adventures 🐾, depending on the route, location and type of event. Please check the event page or contact us before booking to make sure your adventure is dog-friendly.
If your dog does join us, they must be well-behaved around people and other dogs and kept on a lead at all times. You’ll be responsible for your dog throughout the adventure and for leaving no trace — including bringing plenty of poo bags and cleaning up after them.
Happy dog, happy hikers, happy trails!
-
Transport arrangements will vary between events and programmes. We know getting there can be one of the biggest barriers to getting outdoors, so please do get in touch if transport is preventing you from joining us — we’ll always do our best to help.
Where possible, we’ll choose locations that are easy to reach by public transport, and we’ll also encourage car sharing within the Revive community to help make getting there easier (and a little kinder to the planet 🌿).
Check the individual event information for travel options.
-
Life happens — we understand. 💛 If you can’t make an event, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you’ve booked a free survivor place, giving us plenty of notice means we can offer your space to another woman who’d love to join us.
Paid day trips and event tickets are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to sell or transfer your place through our Facebook or WhatsApp groups, or privately. Once you’ve arranged the transfer and received payment, just let us know the name of the person taking your place so we can update the booking.
Please check our Terms & Conditions for full cancellation details.
-
You’ll be adventuring with qualified outdoor leaders, and safety is always our priority.
If you’re injured, become unwell or don’t feel able to continue, we’ll assess the situation and look after you.
